Eunice Bancraft, Auburn, Massachusetts,  Born Feb. 19th 1719   Died  march 15th 1777   

  The Bird-like winged soul effigy symbolizing mans immortal side, suggesting the themes of life rather than Death. The soul effigy is reference to the idea of heavenly rewards after death. 

                              Her stone reads the following  :  A kind and prudent wife she was 


                                                                                    industrious as the Busy bee

                                                                                   a parent tender, soft and kind

                                                                                   the natural product of her mind
